Warding Pillar Candle – Beeswax Hand-Rolled and Ornate Pillar Candle (30 cm Long)

Inspired by the many examples of storm-dispelling, banishing, blessing, hex-breaking, and healing properties—as well as the general apotropaic virtues—traditionally ascribed to beeswax candles crafted or blessed on Candlemas, we have crafted a limited number of Warding Pillar Candles in time of seasonal transition as we move into spring.

Measurements:

• These are the longest candles we have made so far—30 cm (12 inches) in length—and they take inspiration from Candlemas candles burned in mountain communities around the world. Each one is adorned with a beeswax hexafoil and two bees, drawing from protective symbolism and honoring the majestic bees, the noble creatures which allow us to craft these artifacts.
